ffThe company was born in February 1 of the year 1992. When in started operations Jomar Graphics was located in a small 800 square feet building with only one parking and two employees. The main objective back in the days was to sell the basic materials for the emerging sign making industry. The corporation had great success from the start and quickly moved to a bigger building located in the Ave. de Diego 472. The facilities went from no space to a more efficient 2,750 square feet locations.
The amount of clients multiplied and the amount of personnel as well to be able to handle the increasing demand of the products we where representing. Well know brands like Amiable TechnologiesÒ, Universal ProductsÒ and R-tapeÒ where among the many brands of materials that corporation represented. But most importantly Jomar Graphics inc. became the exclusive Roland Digital GroupÒ distributor for all the Caribbean. With the incorporation of the leading manufacturing brand in the sign making industry a new technical department was added to give customers a full local warranty service for all Roland equipment.
In the year 1997 the corporation moved to a new location buying a 7,900 square feet building. The new building would let the increase the amount of stock and diversity of materials. The possibility of selling rigid plastic sheets was now possible along with bigger sizes in all the materials that where already part of the companies stock. The company kept growing and became one of the leading suppliers in the Caribbean for the sign making business.
Today Jomar Graphics a corporation owned by entrepreneur Alfredo Tapanes and Marta Alvarez owns a 15,000 square feet modern building with 20 parking, loading docks, 40 feet high storage halls, delivery vehicle fleet and 15 employees.
